You’ve got Fat Gold!
Fat Gold is a micro-scale olive oil producer working on a three-acre grove in Sunol, California, about an hour from San Francisco.
A year of Fat Gold is four shipments, always a different variety of olive oil, each in a substantial 500 ml tin. Your first shipment will arrive in February 2019. You’ll get another one in May, another in September—we skip the hot summer, so the oil doesn’t sit baking on your front porch—and then, finally, a taste of the new harvest next December.
With each shipment, you’ll also receive an issue of the Fat Gold Zine with information on that particular oil’s origin and tips on how to use it. Our goal is to make extra virgin olive oil accessible and useful rather than pretentious and “precious.”
